all apps should stay on it but, some people do get problems in that the ipod stays at the apple logo, in that case you'll have to restore your ipod and it will cause you to lose all data, so i suggest you backup everything just incase something goes wrong

what does it mean by version like the one you update or the version of ipod im confused and mine gut stuck at 'waiting for reboot' and instead of the % thing to the right i got .... does it work for iphone or is it the fact i has the os 3.0
